Hilary Haniff is a certified sommelier with over a decade of experience in hospitality, currently part of our team at International House Hotel in New Orleans. Her career spans front-of-house management, beverage program development, and wine education across some of Louisiana’s most respected dining establishments — including a recent tenure at Emeril’s, where she assisted in managing a cellar of nearly 30,000 bottles for the two Michelin star kitchen.
As General Manager of Proverbial Wine Bistro and Assistant General Manager of Rouj Creole, she built a reputation for elevating beverage programs, mentoring staff, and creating dining experiences that keep guests coming back. At the heart of her approach is a genuine belief in independent winemakers and the stories behind the bottle. Whether she’s curating a wine list, leading a tasting, or guiding a guest through a pairing, Hilary brings the same thing every time — curiosity, precision, and hospitality that feels personal.
