This penthouse hotel room and terrace, with its ebony baby-grand piano, beckon the restless muse within, as does an expansive playpen daybed fabricated in Italian chenille by Los Angeles craftsman Gabriel Victor. A worn 6' Carrara top rests on vintage champagne racks, alluding whimsically to a Francophile history while serving as inventive dining table/desk. In one corner, a crystal chandelier dressed in a diaphanous silk shade glows. Washed velvet curtains over white batiste sheers hang from wrought iron rods. Parting a dramatic pair of Fortuny velvet panels leads to the 8' x 11' linen-covered headboard and bed dressed with layers of white bedding, as well as the hotel's finest master bathroom.
